Tax reporting helpers for your portfolio year

Year figures from your data — not a filed return

Brokers issue year statements per account. If you invest across DEGIRO, Trade Republic, and Interactive Brokers, gathering opening value, closing value, dividends, and realized gains into one place is tedious. TrackinV Tax builds those calendar-year figures from the transactions and prices already in your portfolio.

TrackinV is not a tax advisor and not an intermediary of the Belastingdienst or FOD Financiën. Worksheets and exports are helpers only: they summarize amounts that follow from the data you imported. Incomplete imports, missing corporate actions, or assets outside this portfolio can make figures unsuitable to copy blindly into a return.

Three jurisdiction tabs

One Premium Tax workspace, three worksheets. Export applies to the active tab only.

Universal

Western tax prep

Country-agnostic calendar-year figures: opening and closing value, deposits and withdrawals, buys and sells, gross dividends, withholding, estimated unrealized change, and realized FIFO gains. Built for investors who need a clean year summary before filling a local return.

  • Opening / closing portfolio value
  • Cash flows, buys, sells, dividends
  • Realized FIFO gains aligned with Performance
  • Not tailored to one country’s tax code

Netherlands

Box 3 / OWR helpers

Same field set as Universal, labeled for Dutch Box 3 and Opgaaf Werkelijk Rendement (werkelijk rendement). Per-holding start/end values, buys, sells, and dividends — useful when brokers only report per depot and you need a consolidated view.

  • Box 3 / OWR-oriented year fields
  • Per-holding start, end, buys, sells, dividends
  • Multi-broker consolidation in EUR
  • Does not calculate forfait vs actual tax due

Belgium

Capital gains + dividends

FIFO realized capital gains per sale, plus gross, withholding, and net dividends for the calendar year. Designed for Belgian filers (and expats filing in Belgium) who need cost basis and sale-level gains from TrackinV transactions.

  • FIFO realized gains per sale
  • Gross / withholding / net dividends
  • Aligned with TrackinV Performance FIFO
  • No TOB or Reynders calculation in v1

For expats and English-first filers

If you live abroad but still file in the Netherlands or Belgium — or you prefer the English product UI while your tax home is NL or BE — use the Netherlands or Belgium tab alongside the Universal year summary. Jurisdiction helpers are not limited to the Dutch-language site.

Universal stays useful as a neutral Western prep sheet when you work with an advisor in another country. NL and BE tabs add labels and sale/dividend detail aimed at local filing seasons. Always cross-check with broker documents and official guidance.

How it works

1

Import your brokers

Upload CSV exports from DEGIRO, Interactive Brokers, Trade Republic, or any other broker. TrackinV consolidates multi-broker holdings into one portfolio.

2

Open the Tax tab

In your portfolio, open Tax (Premium). Choose the calendar year you need — typically the previous year for filing season.

3

Pick a jurisdiction tab

Use Universal for Western tax prep, Netherlands for Box 3 / Opgaaf Werkelijk Rendement helpers, or Belgium for FIFO capital gains and dividends.

4

Export CSV or PDF

Download the active tab as CSV or PDF after accepting the disclaimer. Use the figures alongside your broker year statements — TrackinV does not file your return.

Exports use FIFO as in TrackinV Performance. If your broker uses another cost method, reconcile before filing. Crypto in normal holdings is included; the separate crypto submenu is not a Tax data source.

Frequently asked questions

Does TrackinV calculate the tax I owe?

No. Tax worksheets summarize figures from your TrackinV transactions and prices for a calendar year. They do not calculate tax due, fill Mijn Belastingdienst or FOD Financiën forms, or replace broker year statements. You remain responsible for your return.

Which countries does Tax support?

Premium Tax includes three tabs: Universal (Western, country-agnostic prep), Netherlands (Box 3 / Opgaaf Werkelijk Rendement helpers), and Belgium (FIFO capital gains and dividends). There is no AU/UK CGT pack or German Steuer dashboard in this release.

I am an expat — can I still use the NL or BE tabs?

Yes. The English product UI includes Netherlands and Belgium tabs for residents and expats who file Dutch or Belgian returns. Use Universal for a neutral year summary, then switch to NL or BE when you need jurisdiction-labeled fields. Living abroad does not lock those tabs.

How is this different from Sharesight tax reporting?

Sharesight is known for detailed CGT reports aimed at markets like Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. TrackinV Tax is a Premium helper for Universal year figures plus NL Box 3 / OWR and Belgian gains and dividends — worksheets and CSV/PDF exports, not a full multi-country CGT engine.

Is Tax included in Free or Premium?

Tax is a Premium feature (including the 30-day Premium trial). Free accounts see the Tax tab locked until they upgrade. Shared portfolio viewers cannot open Tax worksheets — only the portfolio owner can.

What can I export?

CSV and PDF for the active jurisdiction tab, after you accept the one-time disclaimer. Exports cover the current portfolio only and the selected calendar year.
